National Polytechnic Bamenda FC bows 0-2 to Feucteu FC of Djiko Banjoun IN Bamenda



After playing five matches away from home following a three match suspension which they suffered at the close of the 2012-2013 football season, National Polytechnic FC (NPB) this Sunday March 16, 2014 welcome Feutcheu FC of Banjoun in the Bamenda municipal for their first day of play at home. This plus their prestigious 2nd place on the classification table of the national division two championship gave the home side pre-match advantage.   
 The first 45minutes of play impressed many spectators like Nji Sunday and the famous 1979 PWD goal keeper of the Cameroon Cup finals Agua though it ended goalless.

Five minutes into the second half the djiko boys took the lead with a header that took both the NPB goal keeper and supporters by surprise. As usual they hoped an equalizer will come but unfortunately the second quarter game with bad news as another header gave goal number two to Feutcheu FC.
The 93rd minute came including extra time with the final whistle at the time the Bamenda team had not kicked a single ball into the net of Feutceu Fc. The team thus leaves Bamenda with three points and an unhidden scene of Satisfaction yet respects their opponents.

“NP is a very good team. I can say that it is the best team in this championship because it is a team that knows how to manage the ball.  In fact the team has a high level that is better than some teams in the elite one” Kamgue Marlene is Coach for Feutcheu said.
Kabio Martine NPB Coach blames his defeat on tiredness saying his boys have been moving and playing many matches out of home without any time to rest. 
This defeat thus elevates Feutcheu FC to replace NPB FC on the second position while the Bamenda team takes spot number four on the classification table
