By Bakah Derick The Prime Minister Head of Government has left the North West region after spending four days for what has been described as a peace mission. Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute's convoy drove out of the region in the early hours of Friday 8 October 2021 peacefully unlike his arrival that was greeted by gunshots. PM Dion Ngute receiving farewell salutations from security forces "I leave Bamenda with a great deal of optimism, knowing that on the next weeks or months the situation will change dramatically" he said In his evaluation of the situation in the region ahead of his departure, the head of government admits that there are still issues to worry about but hopes his mission can pave the way for peace.
