Presidential candidate Hon. Cabral Libii has issued a fresh appeal to Cameroonian youths, calling on them to seize what he describes as a “unique rendezvous with history” by voting for change on 12 October.
Hon Cabral LibiiIn a daily campaign letter released on Tuesday 30 September 2025, the leader of the Cameroon Party for National Reconciliation (PCRN) said the time had come for the younger generation to “act without procrastination” by making full use of their most powerful tool which is the ballot paper.
“The only thing that must cross your minds right now is your future, your future and your legitimate right to a well-being and a better living standard,” Hon. Cabral Libii declared.
Hon. Cabral Libii reaffirmed his commitment to stand by the side of all young people whom he said had been “abandoned barefooted on the thorns planted by a regime of four decades”. He pledged to prioritise employment, entrepreneurship and governance reforms if elected.
According to him, the support and confidence youths have shown since his entry into politics will be repaid by policies designed to create “massive jobs”, empower businesses, and build an administration that protects and unleashes the potential of citizens.
Libii described the 12 October poll as an act of courage and responsibility that would restore dignity to Cameroonians.
“This act, you gave it a name, a face and a colour: Orange,” he wrote.
The candidate insisted that the “orange wave” symbolised rupture and progress, and called on young people to recognise in it a note of change sounding louder than ever before.
He concluded with a bold prediction:
“On 12 October 2025, we shall succeed together. On that day, I will be voted President of the Republic of Cameroon.”
With less than two weeks to polling day, Hon. Cabral Libii continues to frame his campaign as a youth-driven movement against unemployment, corruption and economic stagnation.
