Christians from different denominations have assembled in the St Michael's Catholic Church of Futru Nkwen to observe the 2023 edition of World Day of Prayer (WDP). The Christians from what is known as the Futru zone came from the Catholic Church, the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC) and the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) with the objective of pushing the global agenda of Christian unity.
Reflecting on this year's them for the commemoration drawn from the Biblical book of Ephesians 1: 15-19, being 'I have heard about your faith' the Parish Priest of Futru indicated that as a Christian, the destination after life is of utmost importance and not necessarily which church you belong to.
