According to the publisher who doubles as Editor-in-chief of Cameroon's Lone English language daily, the 5th anniversary of the newspaper comes with some innovations amongst which will be the publication of an edition on Saturdays dedicated entirely for sports.

As at now, The Guardian Post Daily publishes every working day from Monday to Friday and Sundays. With a publication announced for Saturday, this means new editions of the newspaper will now appear all seven days of the week on newspaper stands across the country. This will be Cameroon's first newspaper to achieve this.

The innovative publisher has also announced that beginning this January, the paper will begin appearing in colour for hard copies. This will also be a novelty in the Cameroon print media landscape where printing is mostly done in black and white.

Ngah Christian it should be noted is also President of the Cameroon English language publishers association.
