The Mayor of the Bamenda III Council has handed over farming equipment and seeds to over 40 farmers and Common Initiative Groups (CIGs) in his municipality.
Fongu Cletus Tanwe handed over the items on Tuesday April 13, 2021 at the Council premises.
The items made up of varied processing machines, sprayers, maize seeds etc according to the municipal is jointly provided by the Bamenda III Council and her agricultural development partner ministry.
The activity which comes almost at the start of every planting season Mayor Fongu noted is expected to boast agricultural production in the municipality that is already doing relatively well despite the crisis.
