The North Region chapter of the Cameroon Journalists' Trade Union (CJTU) has elected a new regional bureau to steer its affairs for the 2025–2027 mandate. The elective general assembly, held at the Regional Delegation of Communication in Garoua, was convened under the supervision of National Executive Bureau (BEN) advisers Comrades Dewa Aboubacar and Jean Areguena.
This sixth elective general assembly in the region served as an opportunity for members to critically assess the 2023–2025 mandate and set a forward-looking agenda for the next two years. With only one list submitted for consideration, delegates in attendance adopted the proposed team through acclamation.
