Erected by Saint Pope John Paul II on Thursday, 18th March 1982, Bishop Cornelius Fontem Esua (Now Archbishop Emeritus of Bamenda) was appointed on October 9, 1982.
The current Bishop, His Lordship George Nkuo will take over and be consecrated on September 8, 2006.
