Community Agriculture and Environmental Protection Association (CAEPA)
The Community Agriculture and Environmental Protection Association (CAEPA) is a Cameroonian non-profit organization dedicated to promoting climate resilience, environmental conservation, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and community empowerment. CAEPA is seeking qualified, motivated, and passionate professionals to join the implementation team of a new Climate Change Adaptation and Forest Landscape Restoration Project in the Bamenda Highlands, North West Region of Cameroon.
Qualified candidates are invited to apply for the following positions:
1. Finance Officer (1 Position)
Duty Station: Bamenda, North West Region
Key Responsibilities
· Manage project finances and accounting in accordance with donor and organizational policies.
· Prepare budgets, financial reports, bank reconciliations, and cash flow forecasts.
· Process payments, payroll, and procurement transactions.
· Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
· Support financial audits and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
· Monitor project expenditures and provide financial analysis to management.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
· Knowledge of donor financial management procedures is an advantage.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
2. Agriculture Extension Officer (1 Position)
Duty Station: Bamenda, North West Region
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver training on climate-smart agriculture and sustainable land management.
· Support establishment of demonstration farms and agroforestry activities.
· Provide technical advisory services to farmers and community groups.
· Promote soil and water conservation practices.
· Support monitoring of agricultural activities and farmer adoption.
· Prepare technical reports and field assessments.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agroforestry, Agricultural Extension, or related discipline.
· At least 3 years of practical experience in agricultural extension or climate-smart agriculture.
· Experience working with rural communities.
· Strong facilitation and training skills.
· Knowledge of the Bamenda Highlands is an added advantage.
3. Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Officer (1 Position)
Duty Station: Bamenda, North West Region
Key Responsibilities
· Integrate gender equality and GBV prevention across project activities.
· Conduct community awareness and sensitization sessions.
· Support women's participation in climate adaptation and restoration activities.
· Strengthen referral pathways for GBV survivors.
· Train staff and community volunteers on safeguarding and protection.
· Monitor gender and protection indicators and prepare reports.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Community Development, Sociology, Psychology, or related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in GBV programming or protection.
· Knowledge of safeguarding principles and survivor-centered approaches.
· Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills.
4. Administrative Assistant (1 Position)
Duty Station: Bamenda, North West Region
Key Responsibilities
· Provide administrative and logistical support to the project team.
· Coordinate meetings, workshops, and travel arrangements.
· Manage office correspondence, filing systems, and records.
· Support procurement and inventory management.
· Assist with report preparation and document management.
· Receive visitors and maintain office operations.
Qualifications
· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

· Commitment to community development and environmental sustainability.
· Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent written and spoken English (knowledge of French is an asset).
· Ability to work in rural communities within the Bamenda Highlands.
· High ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism.
