Indomitable Lions: "Tataw Stephen is the true captain." Rigobert Song

Longest serving captain of C ameroon's senior national team Rigobert Song has declared to Hilltopvoices that late Tataw Eta Stephen "is the true captain" of the indomitable lions. Song was speaking to Hilltopvoices.com in Mbankomo just shortly after the death of the 1990 World Cup heroic performing captain Tataw Eta Stephen was confirmed by the Cameroon Football Federation FECAFOOT.

Cameroon Agriculture: Tubah Municipal plantations in gestation

The Tubah Council has started ground works for the settling up of a municipal plantation. Meeting in session this Thursday July 30, 2020, the Mayor and collaborators, Sub Delegate of Agriculture, Traditional Authorities and Chiefs of Agric posts discussed on the community  plantation to be made up of fruit trees they said  will be shared across the 4 main villages of the municipality occupaying five hectares of land per village. While the Fons or competent traditional authorities have been charged with providing the required land while the village will be expected to  propose the best fruit tree species in regards to their soil history. Football Transfer: FC Toulouse unveils big-catch; Steve Regis Mvoue

French League side FC Toulouse has officially made public their signing of Cameroonian rising football machine Steve Regis Mvoue. The announcement which Hilltopvoices read on the club's official Twitter account on Monday July 27, 2020 communicated a message of satisfaction with the move. Cameroon Electricity : ENEO comes to blows with theft and fraud

Cameroon's electricity producer and distributor ENEO has raised concerns of electricity fraud and theft in the country. In a recent briefing note published by the company which Hilltopvoices got a copy, electricity fraud is causing "the sector and the country to lose more than 60 billion CFA Francs each year. The level of losses generated by illegal activities is very high, and contributes to the financial suffocation of the entire electricity sector."

University of Wolverhamptons Centre for International Development and Training has donated, face masks, buckets,  soap, and medications/First Aid to cater for the regular health crisis of sickle cell sufferers in the crisis hit North West and South West Regions of Cameroon. Bamenda: Salatiel donates to Central Prison

Artist Salatiel has made a donation of food items FIs and non food items NFIs to the Bamenda central prison. The donation that targeted inmates was made up of rice, face masks and hand sanitisers was handed on  Saturday July 25 by representatives of the artist. According to Atanche Zita founder and promoter of New Breed Africa Foundation, the items were able to reach out to over 250 inmates. The items she announced on her facebook page were made up of four bags of rice, 400 hand sanitisers and over 300 face masks. Chiaga Eric of Nation Builders International has also confirmed the donation with pictures and same details of the donation. Noni White Wears a fashion desiner brand was also  associated to the donation event. The Artist is yet to make a statement on the donations himself but his representatives have shared his words of encouragement with the inmates said to be from Salatiel on the need to trust God, prevent at all levels COVID-19. The Governor of the North West Region has made a donation of a Million FCFA to the Bamenda Centra Prison for the production of face masks. Adolph Lele L'Afrique Tchoffo made the donation on Thursday July 24, 2020 during an inspection visit to the detention facility.

Inclusive Education: CBC Health Services SEEPD program supports Government

The Socio Economic Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities SEEPD program of the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services CBCHS has handed over some items to the Northwest Regional Delegation of Secondary Education in Bamenda. The Items funded by the charity Australian Aid were handed to the education delegation on Friday Juy 24 by the SEEPD Program manager Mr. Awa Jacques Chirac.

Gender Based Violence: Health personnel equipped with care techniques

Some health personnel amongst them medical doctors, nurses and midwives have been equipped with skills required to effectively provide care to victims and survivors of Gender Based violence particularly post rape care. The over 160 health service personnel selected from the North West and South West Regions took in two separate training programs organised by the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services CBCHS between July 14 and 19, 2020.
