Pressure Group Calls off Strike but says Bamenda needs a Fuel Depot just like its road from Bafoussam

Some old picture of Bamenda It’s known to many by now that Cameroon’s government in July announced an increase in prices of petroleum products in the country. These prices which were generally not received happily by Cameroonians have generated another kind of debate stemming from its disparity across the national territory. In Bamenda, there is an extra CFA 9F increase which is explained by the suppliers to be an addition caused by transportation. While politicians have been lambasting the addition, civil society organization say it is outright disrespect of the consumer rights of consumers of the precious liquid in Bamenda. Northwest Regional league Adopts FECAFOOT new Statutes as Assembly Dissolves

Mr Fortibuh Hilary Ist Vice President FECAFOOT NW addressing Assembly A conclave to adopt the statutes of the Northwest Football Regional League held this Tuesday 16 th September, 2014 in Bamenda. Chaired by Mr Tambe Jonathan member and representative of the standardization committee of the Cameroon Football Federation, the extraordinary session of FECAFOOT Northwest reviewed the statutes adopted last august 31 2014 in Yaounde by the National Assembly of the Football association. Examining the modifications made on the new statutes, Mr Tambe amongst other things looked at the expulsion of Trade associations, outgoing members of the council and specialized associations which thus excludes any other person from the general assembly except Club Presidents. 100 students and pupils of Bamenda III receive back-to-school support from Hon Fobi Nchinda Simon.

Hon Fobi Nchinda Simon Hands Support to 1 of 100 kids The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bamenda-Bali Saturday September 13 2014 kept his word following an announcement made during the August midterm evaluation session of the Bamenda III Council. During the session Hon. Fobi Nchinda Simon informed councilors of his intention to hand over his Parliamentary Micro project grants in Bamenda III Subdivision on the said date.
