Nkwen Fondom: Royal Tournament flags off Saturday in Douala

By Bakah Derick  A football tournament for Nkwen sons and daughters based in Cameroon's economic capital is expected to flag off this Saturday 13 August 2022. Elite One Championship 2022: YOSA President makes rare outing, spurs supporters

By Bakah Derick  The President of Yong Sports Academy (YOSA) has made a rare outing as the team prepares to engage the second phase of the ongoing Elite One Championship. Sports Promotion: Bamenda III Veteran football tournament launched

By Bakah Derick  A veterant football tournament has kicked off in Bamenda III Subdivision. The official launch of the tournament took place on Saturday 7 May 2022 at the renovated Niboung government school field in Nkwen.  Bamenda III Veteran tournament launching fixture  Speaking during the launching of the maiden edition of the tournament, the Mayor of the Bamenda III Council explained that the decision to organise the football competition is to promote the sporting culture in the municipality especially for those aged above 40years. Fongu Cletus Tanwe noted that this will go a long way to keep them healthy by preventing many diseases that come with aging.  He has praised the 13 registered teams for adhering to this maiden call. Elite One Championship 2022: PWD, YOSA in tough day-10 contests

By Bakah Derick  North West flag bearers in the ongoing Elite One championship will be up against tough opponents this weekend.  PWD Bamenda will take on Cotonsport of Garoua while Yong Sports Academy (YOSA) will confront Colombe of Sagmalima this Saturday 23 April 2022. The North West sides ranked third in their respective groups look forward to keeping their positions or moving up the classification tables which will remain important for them in the competition moving forward.  With 11points and ranked sixth, the recharged Garoua side comes into the fixture with the hope of displacing the Abakwa Boys with 13points  from the third place they have enjoyed since their day-9 draw against Renaissance de Ngoumou. By Bakah Derick  Yong Sports Academy (YOSA) FC Bamenda and PWD social football club of Bamenda will on Wednesday engage what can arguably be described as a resurrection mission this Wednesday 20 April 2022 in Yaounde and Limbe respectively.  While YOSA FC will be taking on Panthere du Nde at the Ngoa-Ekelle military stadium at 4pm, PWD Bamenda at the same time will be facing Renaissance de Ngoumou at Limbe the Ngueme Omnisport stadium.  Both sides are expected to resurrect from a series of winless games as they face their respective opponents.   The two North West flag bearers have been without a win in their last three games. The hopes buried in match day-8 were dashed as PWD failed to consolidate a 2-0 lead against UMS of Loum ending the fixture in a 2-2 draw. Women's Football Championship 2022: Vision Sport FC set to begin campaign in Yaounde
