CPDM Bamenda C Section: The race for Section President may go deadly

Since the announcement of reorganization of the basic organs of the Cameroon People Democratic Movement CPDM by the National Chairman of the Party Paul Biya, reports of strange activities have been heard from around the country as hopefuls into section leadership functions lay down different strategies.

In the newly created Bamenda III Section or Bamenda C as the party prefers to call it, the battle is taking a different twist. On Social media battle is taking a different twist. In a facebook post recently by one Ndonwie Peter, he presents two pictures one being Dr Ndonwie Peter (likely the one who posted from the pictures) and Ngante Martin.
According to this Ndonwie Peter, who we cannot differentiate from Dr Ndonwie Peter they are the personalities eyeing the position of Section President. Since we cannot differentiate the Ndonwie Peter from Dr Ndonwie Peter, we conclude that it is the same person. Other members of the facebook forum (Bamenda III Political Debate Forum) where the debate is going on equally refer to Ndonwie Peter as Doctor. In fact though sounding like a moderator, Ndonwie Peter placed a comment referring to Dr Ndonwie Peter as Ndonwie Peter thus giving us more reasons to conclude that it’s the same person.

In the initial post he says “……the race for the position of CPDM Section president for Bamenda III will be a do or die race as we are going to see a real crash(maybe he meant Clash) of Titans.”  If an aspirant describes the race as “do or die”, there is reason to get worried as to how far people are prepared to go. While there are many attempts to give the impression that they are different persons, so too there are many to proof that it is the same person acting as referee and player at the same time.

Supporters of the said Dr Ndonwie Peter have been lining up various reasons as to why he should be Section President and as soon as anyone makes a submission as to why the other candidate should be it becomes a problem as Ndonwie Peter and his followers throw blows trying to water down the idea.

The flexing of muscles by the said aspirant will require immediate intervention from party hierarchy before the fight goes deadly.

Ngante Martin who has been presented on the Forum as an aspirant has described the placing of his picture on facebook as unlawful. In a comment which he posted, he instructs Ndonwie Peter to stop using his name for his selfish interest. Simple observation will suggest from the comment that Mr Ngante is not yet ready to declare his intentions to run for the office of Section president talk less of opening campaigns.

Since his formal declaration for the CPDM, the Paramount Fon of Nkwen could have been another aspirant to watch out for. The party electoral laws on eligibility however forbid first and second class Fons from running for any executive office in the basic organs.

It is however not clear as to why the Forum moderator (Ndonwie Peter) decided to single out only Dr Ndonwie Peter and Ngante Martin when many others including Minister of Missions at the Presidency of the Republic Atanga Nji Paul based in Bamenda III and currently Section President for Mezam I, Vally Kilo an active militant of the party who could possibly be eyeing the function of section.

Reports from Nkambe Donga Mantung Division of the Northwest Region talk of the arrest and of a witch doctor from Nigeria in possession of a Cameroonian Identity Card. His first release on bail has remained mysterious as the Guardian post confidential sources say it was master minded by some CPDM heavy weights from the Nation’s Capital Yaounde. The witch doctor who was not only seen in possession of a Cameroonian Identity Card was also seen with an erected penis struggling to penetrate the anus of a male (sodomy) in a locked room. Whether for sexual or spiritual satisfaction only the recaptured witch-doctor can tell but what is clear is that he enjoys protection from very high. General opinion particularly from some opposition parties in Nkambe say the CPDM elite in Misaje imported the witch doctor for fortification as they prepare for the reorganization of the basic organs of the party. This is just one of the many stories we will surely hear until the reorganization ends in December even when campaigns have not been officially launched.
